The purpose of the Community Assistance Grant is the distribution of monetary funds to not-for-profit agencies in Crosby, Floyd, Garza, Hale, Hockley, Lamb, Lubbock, Lynn, and Terry counties. In the fall of each year, a total of up to $5,000 may be awarded during each application cycle to not-for-profit agencies that have previously incurred expenses between March 2, 2023 and October 5, 2023. Monies awarded shall be determined by the Junior League of Lubbock's Community Impact Council and the Executive Board of Directors.
Applications for the fall cycle must be received by October 6, 2023. The fall Community Assistance Grant monies will be awarded in November.
Your application information will be collected online. Please be aware that you will be asked to upload certain documents before submitting your application. You will not have the opportunity to return to the application at a later time to upload the documents. It is important that you have everything before you begin completing the application.
You will upload only the following documents, but they must all be uploaded for the application to be submitted:
- Statement of Purpose
- List of your Board of Directors and its committees
- Current and prior year's budget
- Most recent year-end and most recent financial statement
- Most recent IRS Form 990
- A copy of your 501(c)(3) IRS Authorization Permit
- Receipts of Expenses for which this Community Assistance Grant will reimburse
