Fighting childhood hunger. Empowering preteen girls from underserved areas. Teaching children healthy habits. Bringing Lubbock children and adults face to face with trucks and equipment and those who operate them to power the South Plains. Providing grants and scholarships to deserving recipients with a passion for helping those less fortunate.
Kids in the Kitchen, developed in 2006, focuses on educating children about developing healthy eating and exercise habits. Its programming includes Camp Healthy Kids, a week-long summer day camp for girls and boys in the fourth and fifth grades, and healthy food scavenger hunts.
Empowering women begins early, and SPARK aims to show eighth-grade girls their potential. Volunteers serve as mentors and conduct monthly education days that explore education and leadership concepts. Volunteers also have monthly lunches with girls at their schools.
The Junior League of Lubbock Foundation is a separate 501(c)(3) organization that raises funds to improve the League's ability to respond to community needs as they arise. The Foundation recently celebrated its 20th Anniversary in the Lubbock community.
The Junior League of Lubbock Foundation is a separate 501(c)(3) organization created to support the Junior League of Lubbock and it's work in the community. The Headquarters Endowment ensures the perpetual support and maintenance of its headquarters building and surrounding property, which is used for the League's meetings as well as a rentable venue for area nonprofits and individuals who need affordable and well-equipped meeting and event space.

Originally conceived as a signature project then voted upon to become a fundraiser, Touch-a-Truck brings big trucks and equipment to children and adults. Attendees have the opportunity to interact with and touch the vehicles and meet those who operate them. Touch-a-Truck aims to not only educate attendees on the vehicles but also to foster an interest in the careers associated with them.
